To claim your rebate, you must upload the following documents:

1) Proof of Residence

Upload a single image or file that includes a rates notice or utility bill from the last three (3) months, showing the following:

• Your full name
• Residential address
• Issue date of the document

2) Receipt or Proof of Purchase

Upload a single image or document that includes the following information:

• Your full name
• Name of the business or retailer
• Purchase date
• Name and cost of each item purchased

Important:

• All required details must appear in a single image or file per receipt. Multiple screenshots or partial files will not be accepted.
• If you purchased items in-store, request a printed or emailed receipt or quote with the necessary information from the service desk.

Additional Documentation for Draught Proofing Rebates Only

If you are applying for a rebate related to draught proofing, please also provide:

3) Proof of Program Participation

Provide evidence that you have participated in the required component of the draught proofing program (e.g., borrowing the Energy and Water Efficiency Home Audit Kit). This could be a photo, screenshot, or document.

4) Proof of Installation

Submit one or more images showing the installed draught proofing items. For multiple installations (e.g., throughout your home), a sample of photos is acceptable.

5. Receive Your Rebate

Once your application is approved and funds are available, your rebate will be processed via electronic bank transfer. Be sure to add [email protected] to your email contacts to avoid missing important updates about your application status.

• The program is only available for properties located within the City of Casey. Applicants must provide proof of residence, such as a rates notice or utility bill dated within the past three (3) months.
• Each rebate can only be claimed once by a household, with no expiration period.
• Applicants must provide a copy of the receipt or proof of purchase. The documentation must clearly include the applicant’s full name, business name, purchase date, and a clear description and cost of each item.
• Partial receipts or proof of purchase will not be accepted; only full, legible documents are valid.
• Participation in the program may require the applicant to complete a related activity or task designated by the City of Casey, with evidence of completion required.
• Receipts or proof of purchase must be dated within six (6) months prior to the date of application.
• Applications must be submitted online via the approved platform. If applicants are unable to access the internet, they may submit their application by phone or in person at a Customer Service Centre.
• It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure all required information is provided. The City of Casey is not responsible for following up on missing or incomplete applications.
• The City of Casey reserves the right to reject any application. Reasons for rejection will be communicated in writing.
• The rebate program is subject to budget availability and may be paused or closed once funds are exhausted.
