You have used the Energy and Water Efficiency Home Audit Kit from your local Connected Libraries branch and identified air leaks in your home, now what?
The City of Casey are supporting homeowners, tenants, and landlords to improve the efficiency of their home and save money on their energy bills. Apply for a rebate from Council of up to $200 per household to draught proof and improve the efficiency of your home.
Rebates available for:
- door and window draught stoppers
- chimney draught stoppers
- hot water system insulators and lagging (including the purchase of one roll of electrical tape)
- block out roller blinds
- pelmets
- honeycomb blinds
- thermal blinds
- window insulation
- reflective window film
- garage door weather seals
- gap fillers and sealants.
To be eligible your receipt must include:
- Your full name
- The company name where you purchased the items from
- Date of purchase
- Cost and name of each item
All information listed in the dot points must be contained in the one image or file as proof of purchase. Several separate phone screenshots are not acceptable. You may need to contact the business in order to get an invoice which will be accepted. Email invoices are acceptable. This applies to all receipts submitted in your application.
For items purchased in person from a trade store, while in store take the items to the service desk and request a quote for the items. They will provide you with a document with the required details. Submit the quote and the receipt for the items.
