Rebates
City of Casey residents can claim rebates on the purchase of reusable nappies, sanitary products, composting and worm farming equipment as well as home energy and water efficiency products. All rebates are provided to help make it more afforable to go green. Sustainable products may cost a little more up-front, but in the long term they can save you – and the planet – much more.
Reusable Cloth Nappies

Every minute, more than 300,000 disposable nappies are either incinerated, sent to landfill, or end up polluting the environment worldwide. The disposable nappy industry is one of the largest contributors to global waste.
Reusable nappies offer an affordable and eco-friendly alternative.
The Australian Nappy Association’s 2019 Great Australian Cloth Nappy survey found that over half of families using reusable nappies purchased them second-hand. The Clean Cloth Nappies community has published this guide to buying reusable nappies second-hand.
Casey residents are eligible for rebates on the purchase of both new and second-hand reusable nappies and accessories.
A few conditions apply:
- The rebate is for 50% of the purchase of eligible products (max $100).
- This rebate can be used for purchase of new or second-hand cloth nappies, swim nappies, reusable inner liners for nappies, wet bags, reusable wipes associated with cloth nappies and reusable nursing pads.
- Only one claim per household.
- You must upload an itemised receipt showing the date of purchase.
