Terms and Conditions
GENERAL
These terms and conditions apply to the City of Casey Rebates Program.
To apply for the rebate program, residents must complete an online application form via Rebately and read through the terms and conditions of this program. By submitting an application for a rebate, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If your application does not comply with these terms and conditions, it will not be valid and will not be accepted or assessed.
It is important to read these terms and conditions in conjunction with any relevant information provided by City of Casey (the City) in relation to the City of Casey Rebates Program. The applicant must include all the attachments and required information in the application.
- Rebate for cloth nappies includes cloth nappies, swim nappies, training nappies, reusable inner liner for nappies, wet bags, reusable wipes associated with cloth nappies and reusable nursing breast pads.
- The cloth nappy rebate also includes materials and items used to hand-make cloth nappies. It also includes pre-owned nappies if adequate proof of purchase is provided.
- The rebate does not include transport costs, nappy hire, wipes containers, decorative (ie not leak-proof) nappy covers, postage/delivery or single-use items.
- The applicant must be the occupant of the property requesting the rebate, with the item to be used by occupants residing at the property. The same address is to be shown on the invoice or delivery address. The rebate cannot be used to purchase items for use outside of Casey. For example, a grandparent living in Casey cannot claim the rebate for nappies purchased for use by a grandchild in another municipality. The rebate is intended to reduce the waste generated by those living in Casey.
- The applicant must provide a proof of residence of Casey, e.g. a rates notice or utility bill that is a maximum of 3 months old.
- The applicant must provide photo ID, e.g. a driver’s license or passport within its expiry date.
- Council will accept only one application for each rebate per household for an indefinite period.
- To apply for both the cloth nappy and reusable sanitary product rebates you will need to fill in two application forms.
- The applicant must provide a copy of the receipt or proof of purchase. It must include the applicant's first and last name, company name, date, and clear identification of name and cost of each item purchased.
- Receipt or proof of purchase must be no older than 6 months.
- The copy of the invoice or proof of purchase must be whole, not a partial copy.
- Applications are to be submitted online. If an applicant does not have computer access, entries can be completed over the phone on 9705 5200 or at Customer Service.
- Casey holds no responsibility for following up missing information supplied by the applicant.
- The City of Casey holds the right to reject any application
- The rebate program may be paused at any time if budget allocations have been exhausted.
