Residential Solar Rebate
Sustainability Rebates supports residents of the Canterbury-Bankstown area to implement energy saving initiaitves and incentivises sustainable lifestyle changes that make a positive environmental impact.
As part of this program, the City of Canterbury Bankstown is offering a rebate of up to $500 to residents for installing solar photovoltaic (solar PV) on residential properties in Canterbury-Bankstown. This initiative is part of Council’s target to increase rooftop solar on single unit dwellings to 50% by 2036. Almost 18,000 solar PV systems have already been installed in our City.
