  • The washing machine must be installed at a residential or commercial property connected to Council’s water supply.
  • The washing machine must have an approved 4.5-star or higher WELS (Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards) scheme-rated washing machine.
  • The washing machine must have been purchased and installed during the past six months.
  • A tax invoice for the machine'ss purchase date must be provided stating:
    • your name
    • a delivery or installation address in Eurobodalla
    • the machinemake and model
    • a $0 balance owing.
  • Applicants who do not own the property where they have installed the washing machine must provide proof of residence eg copy of driver’s licence or a lease agreement.
  • Applicants must be willing to undergo an audit by Council to ensure the washing machine is installed as specified in the application.

  • Council reserves the right to reasonably deny any application.
  • Your rebate will be paid by electronic funds transfer into your nominated bank account within 60 days of receipt of your application.
  • Timeframe: The program may be altered or cancelled at any time.
  • Business Operators: Commercially rated properties connected to Council’s water supply may apply for a total of three washing machine rebates. The total waterefficient rebates paid will not exceed $2000 per property.

LEGAL NOTICE: It is an offence to knowingly provide false or misleading information to a public authority or a person performing duties under state and federal laws in Australia. Penalties include heavy fines and/or multi-year prison sentences. Any suspected fraudulent claims will be referred to the relevant authorities for investigation.
